World Cup 2014: Philippe Senderos in action as Swiss face France


Newboy Philippe Senderos and Switzerland are back in action tonight.

Fresh from their last-gasp victory over Ecuador in Group E, the Swiss take on France, kick-off 8pm BST.

The match takes place at Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador.

Switzerland are second behind France, both teams having three points but France edging the goal difference - +3 compared to +1.

Ottmar Hitzfeld's side conclude their qualifying campaign with a clash against Honduras.

The 9pm BST encounter takes place at Arena Amazonia, Manaus on Wednesday June 25.

Brad Guzan and the USA will be in buoyant mood after their 2-1 win over Ghana in Group G - and they now face Portugal on Sunday.

The match takes place at Arena Amazonia in Manaus, with an 11pm BST kick-off.

Then it's their final qualifying encounter as they take on Germany on Thursday June 26.

The match takes place on Arena Pernambuco in Recife, with a 5pm BST kick-off.

The final match for Ron Vlaar and the Netherlands - already through to the next phase - is on Monday June 23 as they take on Chile, kick-off 5pm BST at Arena de Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo.

They have already beaten Spain 5-1 and Australia 3-2.
