Flashback 2013: Watch Matt Lowton bullet strike in Stoke win

Villa staged a stunning late show to record their first-ever win at the Britannia Stadium in April 2013.

Gabby Agbonlahor gave Paul Lambert's team the lead with a strike that took him level with Dwight Yorke's club record tally of 60 Premier League goals.

Villa almost added a second when Andreas Weimann's effort came back off the post.

The away side's hard work appeared to have been undone, though, when substitute Michael Kightly equalised 11 minutes from time.

But Matt Lowton's stunning 30-yard volley - an unbelievable effort - restored the lead.

Christian Benteke slotted in to wrap up a valuable victory to lift Villa out of the bottom three.

It was a storming finish to the game from Villa as we claimed a third victory in four games.

It lifted us three points above the relegation zone.

The performance gave Villa plenty of confidence for the run-in.
