Vlaar, Benteke and Guzan sparkle in city centre digital campaign
The star trio fronted our 'Suit Up' comic book-style kit launch campaign earlier this month - and appeared on electronic billboards in prominent places around the Second City.
These included Aston Expressway, Five Ways Island, Bullring, New Street and M6 J9.
Fans were tantalised with an initial teaser video on these digital billboards for several days before a reveal video showed the home kit and then the away kit in all their glory.
Vlaar was the showcase star at the start of the campaign, as he was pictured wearing his smart ensemble before crashing open his shirt to give a glimpse of the home kit.
The reveal video for the home kit displayed the claret and blue classic on Vlaar in full view, while a silhouette next to the captain enticed supporters to stay tuned for details of the away kit.
Several days later, the away kit was exhibited on the rippling torso of Christian Benteke while the goalkeeping kit was presented on the figure of Brad Guzan.
The final version video can still be seen on the city centre digital billboards as you drive around the heaving metropolis.
Dan Meredith, marketing manager, said: "Obviously once a kit campaign is signed-off, the key is for maximum exposure - and the digital billboards give us this.
"The city centre of Birmingham is busy 24/7 so it's fair to say that thousands of motorists, cyclists, shoppers and tourists will have seen our videos, which is what we were looking for."
