Fixtures on Wednesday: Opening Day - home or away?
Our fixtures for the 2014-15 season will be revealed on Wednesday at 9am.
You will be able to check them out in our fixtures section here on the official website - as well as our social media sites - Twitter, Facebook and Google+.
The big question, as always, will be whether we are at home or away on the opening day - and who we face.
Judging by the run of fixtures over the past few seasons, you'd back on us playing away from Villa Park again on the first weekend.
We faced four home games between 2007-08 and 2010-11 - Liverpool, Man City, Wigan and West Ham - before embarking on a sequence of three away matches - 2011-12 to 2013-14 - Fulham, West Ham and Arsenal.
So it's one more on the road for perfect symmetry - although, as we all know, the fixture computer at Premier League HQ doesn't always work like that.
In the Premier League years, our record is W7, L7 and D8 - so let's hope we tip in favour of victories when the new campaign kicks-off on Saturday August 16.
Boss Paul Lambert would love a repeat of the previous campaign, where Villa beat Arsenal 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium.
