Villa U18 3-2 Liverpool U18: Triple striker boosts youngsters


Villa U18s earned a superb 3-2 victory over Liverpool at Bodymoor Heath.

It was the Reds who grabbed an early advantage when Pedro Chirivella gave them the lead.

But Tony McAndrew's team hit three without reply to snatch a 3-1 lead.

Daniel O'Brien, Harry McKirdy and Harry Lewis got the goals for the young claret and blues side.

Late in the game, Daniel Trickett-Smith pulled one back for the visitors but Villa held on for three points in their penultimate home game.

Villa complete the Barclays U18 Premier League campaign with a home fixture against Fulham next Saturday followed by a trip to Tottenham on Tuesday May 6.
