Weimann: Delph a certainty for player of the season awards
Both fans and players choose their top star at the end of the campaign - and Weimann thinks Delph will clean up because of his incredible term in claret and blue.
He says Delph has been the side's "driving force" on the pitch - and a big influence on morale in the dressing room too.
He said: "Fabian has been brilliant. It's as simple as that.
"He's been our best player all season. He's just been inspirational on the pitch and he's a top lad to have in the dressing room too.
"He's improving all the time. He's getting better and better with each passing week.
"He was so unlucky with injuries for quite a few years when he first arrived at the club.
"But this season he's not missed many training sessions at all. He's been on top form all season. There's been no dip.
"Fabian is the driving force for us in that midfield area. He's a leader in there.
"He's a loud guy. He's always screaming words of encouragement, trying to get us going and get the best out of us. He has high standards and he expects everyone to reach them.
"You need players like that in there who tell you what they think. Every good team has players like that.
"He has the right mentality. He absolutely hates losing. He wants to win every game.
"He's very popular too. Off the pitch, he's always so bouncy. He's brilliant for the morale in the dressing room and about the place.
"But on the pitch, he's been absolutely brilliant. In every game, he's either been the best or one of the best. He deserves all the accolades he gets.
"He is a hero here with the fans because of his performances and that appreciation will only grow.
"The way he plays the game, fans associate with him. He gives 100% in every game, in every training session.
"Supporters love to see that - someone who gives their absolute all and plays for that shirt."
