Villa v Chelsea: Guzan - Mourinho adds spark to Premier League
Brad Guzan believes Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has made the Barclays Premier League a more interesting place since his return.
Mourinho came back to England with the Blues at the start of the season, after an absence of six years in which time he bossed Inter Milan and Real Madrid.
Guzan thinks that Mourinho adds colour and excitement to the top-flight.
He said: "It's exciting with Jose around. No-one can deny that.
"He seems to be in the papers or on the television every other day. He brings a spark into the division and football in general.
"As a fan of the game, it's exciting to have him back. You can only enjoy it.
"He's always looking for an advantage in terms of what he says. He's a smart and intelligent man.
"I noticed he said Man City are favourites to win the title but there's so much football still to be played. That's premature.
"But overall, when you look at it, he always seems to say the right thing at the right time. It's entertaining to see. He must be a dream for the media.
"He knows how to get the best out of his players most importantly. The key is the esteem he's held in by his players. That man-management element is so important in football.
"His players seem to love him. He has got that appreciation consistently at every club he's been at.
"We're focused on the game against Chelsea. We're in confident mood after the win against Norwich and it's about using that belief against Chelsea.
"We're looking at our schedule in the closing weeks and we will be looking to take care of business."
