Gordon Cowans insists there is still plenty more to come from his Villa side as they go in search of a third straight win in the Barclays U21 Premier League.
Villa head into tonight's clash against Leicester City at the Pirelli Stadium full of confidence after beating Blackburn and Middlesbrough in their last two outings.
But development coach Cowans reckons his young charges are still capable of stepping up their performance levels.
Nevertheless, he was delighted with some of the football on show in last Monday's 2-0 win at the Riverside.
Graham Burke and Janoi Donacien got the goals as Villa moved up to 12th in the league.
"I was pleased with the performance at Middlesbrough," said Cowans.
"I thought at times we played some very good football and caused them a lot of problems.
"When we played at a high tempo we were excellent but I still think there is more to come from some of them.
"I think some of them need to be giving a little bit more to get to where they want to be.
"But overall I was delighted with the performance and the win. Now they just need to push themselves a little bit more."
