Restaurant VMF showing support for Fairtrade Fortnight
VMF will be offering a three-course menu comprising Fair Trade ingredients, while all dishes are served with Fair Trade green beans from Kenya.
The Fairtrade Fortnight menu will be available on Friday February 28, Saturday March 1, Friday March 7, Saturday March 8 and Sunday March 9.
Among the options for starters, there is pan fried scallops with king prawns featuring Fair Trade mango dipping sauce, grilled winter fruits and homemade soup of the day.
For main course, selections include roast rack of pork with Fair Trade oranges, lemon thyme roasted chicken and trellis of salmon and sole.
The dessert offering includes white chocolate profiteroles, banana crème brulee and peanut butter chocolate cheesecake.
This super three-course menu is available for £24.95, while the Sunday lunch menu is £19.95.
