Express and Star: Boss Paul Lambert today backed Villa's British boys to help his foreign legion become Premier League hits. He reckons his new men need help to adapt to England after their transfers.

BBC Sport: Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke could be available for Sunday's Premier League match against Tottenham. The Belgium international was ruled out for four to six weeks after suffering a hip injury in Villa's win at Norwich on 21 September.

Goal.com: Paul Lambert trusts Christian Benteke will return to Aston Villa in good condition following international duty with Belgium. Benteke, who has not appeared for his club since injuring his hip flexor on September 21 away to Norwich, was an unused substitute for his national side's final World Cup qualifying match against Wales on Tuesday.

Setanta Sports: Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert will wait until closer to the weekend before making a decision on Christian Benteke's availability for the Premier League clash with Tottenham on Sunday. Benteke missed Aston Villa's last two Premier League fixtures before the international break with the hip injury he sustained against Norwich, but he was included in the Belgium squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Croatia and Wales.

Sky Sports: Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is hopeful that Christian Benteke will be fit to play some part against Tottenham on Sunday afternoon. Benteke has not featured since the 1-0 win at Norwich on 21 September after picking up a hip injury, but the striker trained with Belgium during the international break and could return against Spurs at Villa Park.

ClubCall: Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has praised the squad for helping his summer signings settle in at Villa Park. Lambert brought in six overseas players in the summer - Libor Kozak, Antonio Luna, Leandro Bacuna, Jores Okore, Nicklas Helenius and Alexander Tonev - and the Villa boss is delighted with the way the rest of his squad have helped them adapt to life in the Premier League.
