Goal.com: Paul Lambert trusts Christian Benteke will return to Aston Villa in good condition following international duty with Belgium. Setanta Sports: Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert will wait until closer to the weekend before making a decision on Christian Benteke's availability for the Premier League clash with Tottenham on Sunday. Benteke missed Aston Villa's last two Premier League fixtures before the international break with the hip injury he sustained against Norwich, but he was included in the Belgium squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Croatia and Wales.
Sky Sports: Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is hopeful that Christian Benteke will be fit to play some part against Tottenham on Sunday afternoon. Benteke has not featured since the 1-0 win at Norwich on 21 September after picking up a hip injury, but the striker trained with Belgium during the international break and could return against Spurs at Villa Park.
ClubCall: Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has praised the squad for helping his summer signings settle in at Villa Park.
