Birmingham Mail: Manager Paul Lambert has hailed Villa's top scoring talisman Christian Benteke as 'the man with the modest touch'. Benteke has scored four of Villa's five Premier League goals so far this season as well as notching in the Capital One Cup. Lambert says that everything Benteke touches seems to go in, but the Villa boss says his star striker remains unaffected by his success. Benteke has put his summer transfer request behind him this term to continue where he left off in his remarkable 23-goal debut season.

Daily Star: Paul Lambert has ordered his men to dig deep for a bit of Christian aid. Lambert wants his Aston Villa side to try and ease the burden on Christian Benteke. The 22-year-old has smashed in five goals in five appearances and has all but one of Villa's goals in the league so far. And while Lambert is pleased that his striker is still terrorising defences, he wants the others to start chipping in.

Birmingham Mail: Christian Benteke heads for Norwich admitting Villa must maintain their encouraging away form and then strive to bring their threat back home to Villa Park. Benteke and Co are better at getting behind enemy lines on opposition territory and their best two Premier League performances so far this season came on their travels. With Benteke the focal point, the claret and blues won at Arsenal and were impressive in defeat at Chelsea before falling flat with home losses to Liverpool and Newcastle. Benteke has started the season with five goals in five games in all competitions and is determined to give Villa's sell-out 1,400 following something to cheer about.

Daily Mirror: Paul Lambert looks set bring in Ciaran Clark to bolster the Aston Villa back-line that has been rocked following Jores Okore's cruciate ligament injury when he takes his side to Norwich. The 21-year-old defender was ruled out for nine months after sustaining the knee injury in last week's defeat by Newcastle. Clark and the less experienced Nathan Baker are Villa's most likely replacements for the Dane, while Lambert is also missing Charles N'Zogbia for the Saturday lunchtime kick-off. The Scot returns to his former stomping ground at Carrow Road, looking for his side to bounce back from their loss to Newcastle last weekend.

Daily Star: Norwich boss Chris Hughton insists that Paul Lambert's inside knowledge of the club is worthless. Lambert steered Aston Villa to two wins at Carrow Road last season - having previously guided the Canaries into the Premier League. But ahead of today's visit from Villa, Hughton said: "I don't think that matters at all. "We played them three times last season and all the games were tight. "So I don't think his knowledge of Norwich helped them in the slightest."

Best of the Rest

BBC Sport: Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says his side's poor form is because he is trying to improve their style of play. The club have lost their last two games - against Everton and Basel - and made their worst league start in 10 years.

Sky Sports: Christian Eriksen has expressed his delight at scoring his first goal for Tottenham Hotspur as he adjusts to his new surroundings following a summer move from Ajax. The Denmark international followed up an eye-catching debut against Norwich City by coming on in Thursday's Europa League clash with Tromso and finding the top corner with a wonderful strike from distance.

BBC Sport: Manchester United manager David Moyes plans to take things "step by step" over Wayne Rooney's long-term future. Rooney has scored three times in two games ahead of Sunday's Manchester derby, becoming only the fourth player to hit 200 goals for United.
