Happy Okore: I'm a fast learner - except in the car!
Jores Okore believes he's on the right road at Villa - even if he can't get used to driving in England!
Okore insists he's loving life in the Barclays Premier League as he improves game after game for the claret and blues.
Now he hopes to wheelie accelerate his learning surrounding our car-azy rules and regulations.
He said: "It's great being here at Villa in the Barclays Premier League.
"But it is strange driving on the left. Saying that, I haven't caused any accidents!
"But that's the weirdest thing I think - the driving over here.
"But I'm feeling good about life. I'm really glad to be here and I love the place."
Okore may be a learner driver over here but he's definitely getting up to speed with the pace of the top-flight, after impressing against Chelsea and Liverpool.
He continued: "The speed of the game in the Premier League doesn't come as a surprise to me. But I'm really not used to it in my life.
"This is my first two months in England so I need to get adjusted to it.
"Even if you know that the speed is faster you can't get used to it until you've played the games and trained fully.
"Everything is new and something that you need to get experience of. It's still a transition for me.
"Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool was a little bit mad. But it was a good way to start the season and it really made us motivated.
"We really wanted to show we're a good side from the start. It helped us finding our level and our place so I think it was a really good start for us."
Manager Paul Lambert has been delighted with Okore's contribution to date and believes he will only get better with every passing moment.
He added: "Jores is a 21-year-old. He doesn't play like one. He has done great. He's a strong kid.
"He's 21 and an international player - that's not an easy thing. I am delighted with him.
"He did excellent when we threw him on against Chelsea and I thought he was excellent on Saturday.
"He's getting better and stronger. I am delighted with his performances.
"As a character, he's a good guy, a quiet lad, but he's not scared to voice his opinion."
