Brilliant Delph wins player of the month award for August
Fabian Delph is Villa's player of the month for August.
It's three points for first, two points for second and one point for third as fans vote after each match.
Delph earned eight points overall following the games against Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool, with his nearest rival Gabby Agbonlahor picking up three points.
Delph was the top man against both Chelsea and Liverpool and was runner-up against Arsenal.
Agbonlahor was man of the match for his performance at The Emirates.
Jores Okore was runner-up against Liverpool while Christian Benteke was runner-up against Chelsea.
Brad Guzan, Karim El Ahmadi and Antonio Luna all earned third place finishes against Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool respectively.
The online ballot is now live for Villa v Rotherham in the Capital One Cup - vote here now - but Delph simply can't be caught.
The race is already on to succeed Brad Guzan as the Supporters Player of the Year, who picks up the famed Mars-sponsored Terrace Trophy as a prize at the end-of-season award dinner.
Other previous winners of this prestigious award include Gareth Barry, Stiliyan Petrov, James Milner, Dennis Mortimer and Nigel Sims.
