Fabian Delph was easily the best player on the pitch when it came to statistics surrounding the Chelsea encounter.

Delph was here, there and everywhere throughout the 90 minutes and put in an unbelievable performance defensively and offensively.

This was shown in his fab figures, coming out on top for take-ons, ball recoveries, tackles and interceptions.

Backline ace Ron Vlaar also performed well in the statistics charts, impressing with blocks and clearances.

Delph was No.1 for take-ons with three successful from three attempted.

He was also No.1 for ball recoveries with nine. Vlaar was No.4 with six.

Delph was No.1 for tackles with five successful from eight attempted. Vlaar was No.3 with three successful from three attempted.

Delph was No.1 for interceptions with four.

Vlaar, Jores Okore and Antonio Luna were joint No.1 for blocks with one.

Vlaar was No.2 with clearances with eight successful from eight attempted. Okore and Luna were joint No.3 with five successful from five attempted.

Christian Benteke was No.1 for aerial duels with 12 successful from 22 attempted.

He was also No.1 for fouls suffered with four.

Benteke was No.1 for shots with one in total, one on target, resulting in one goal. Andreas Weimann was No.3 with three in total, two on target but no goals.

Ashley Westwood was No.10 for passes with 29 successful from 39 attempted. Fabian Delph was No.11 with 26 successful from 36 attempted.
