Chief Executive Faulkner re-elected to FA Council

Paul Faulkner has been re-elected onto the prestigious FA Council, the body which discusses and determines the major policies of The FA.

Villa's Chief Executive was selected by other Premier League clubs to remain on the Council which consists of 92 elected representatives from the FA Premier League, the Football League, County FAs and the non-executive board of The Football Association.

"It is recognition for the Club and acknowledgement from our peers as to the professional and diligent manner in which we run the Club," said Faulkner, who was voted on to the FA Council in 2012.

"For Villa to have a voice on the Council is important and it has real value. I'm pleased and proud on behalf of the Club to be able to contribute to the Council's efforts to advance the game in this country."
