Reporting to the Marketing Manager, we are looking for an energetic and committed Marketing Coordinator who thrives on being part of a dynamic team.

The role will consist of three principle responsibility areas; the management of the junior membership scheme, assisting with the execution of merchandising marketing campaigns and supporting the CRM Manager in obtaining customer insight and management of supporter data.

This is a job that will require adaptability, a zest for team work and a personality that exudes fun and professionalism.

Key objectives in managing the junior membership programme are to increase the amount of new memberships and to keep the scheme fun and exciting to ensure existing members get value for money and feel close to the football club.

With that in mind, the successful applicant will be comfortable liaising with external contacts, organising events and will generate plenty of ideas.

Working with the Marketing Manager and the club's merchandising department to bring seasonal campaigns, sales promotions and product launches to the club's retail and online stores will also be an important part of the role.

An organised approach, the production of effective design and print briefs and the ability to hit deadlines will be key to achieving success in this area.

The effective management of supporter data is something that is central to the club's operations and the Marketing Coordinator will need a keen eye for accuracy when supporting the CRM manager with the despatch of SMS and email broadcasts, data capture methods and the set up of customer research projects.

Showing real initiative to overcome challenges that may come your way, and a willingness to roll up the sleeves will also be essential as the role will include a number of matchday activities to ensure job variety.

A degree in a marketing or business related discipline or two years experience in a marketing role is essential, as are excellent verbal and written communication skills.
