Stoke v Villa team news: Lambert makes two changes

Villa make two changes to their side for the clash with Stoke.

Barry Bannan misses out and is replaced in the side by Fabian Delph.

Jordan Bowery also comes in for Yacouba Sylla, who has started the last three games against Reading, QPR and Liverpool.

Ciaran Clark has failed to recover from a shoulder injury so Nathan Baker keeps his place in the centre of defence, with Joe Bennett at left-back.

Former Villa players Peter Crouch and Thomas Sorensen are on the Stoke bench, alongside former England forward Michael Owen.

VILLA: Guzan, Lowton, Vlaar [c], Baker, Bennett, Westwood, Delph, Agbonlahor, Weimann, Bowery, Benteke. Subs: Given, N'Zogbia, Holman, Sylla, El Ahmadi, Bent, Lichaj.

STOKE: Begovic, Cameron, Huth, Shawcross, Wilson, N'Zonzi, Shotton, Etherington, Whitehead, Walters, Jones. Subs: Sorensen, Owen, Adam, Kightly, Crouch, Wilkinson, Jerome.
