Villa v Liverpool tickets: Bumper crowd of over 41,000 expected
Villa Park is set for a bumper crowd of over 41,000 as Liverpool arrive in B6 for the Easter Sunday clash.
Despite the holiday season, supporters have swamped the ticket office in a bid to secure seats for the Reds encounter.
Sales have amounted to over 800 per day over the past two weeks, as fans get set to play their part once again in Villa's battle to surge away from the lower reaches of the top-flight table.
Paul Lambert has spoken regularly over the past few weeks of the ability of the crowd to "drive on" the team and they are set to do the same this weekend with an impressive number expected in the ground.
Lambert watched on at Anfield as Christian Benteke and Andreas Weimann caused havoc in the Reds rearguard and he will hope for more of the same on Sunday for the return clash.
He will also hope the team can make it three wins on the spin, after terrific victories over Reading and QPR.
Fans raised the roof against Rangers and it will be more of the same on Sunday if the Reds are vanquished.
Gabby Agbonlahor is in fine form heading into the clash and if he scores he equals Dwight Yorke's record of 60 goals in the Premier League - if he bags two, he breaks it.
Most areas of the stadium are now sold out but there is still availability, with tickets on general sale.
Contact 0800 612 0970, book online or come along in person to Villa Village or New Street offices.
Fans are advised to set out earlier than usual to get to the game due to the ongoing poor weather conditions. It is set to continue into the weekend and snow is, again, forecast for the later part of this week.
Please also be advised that there are planned engineering works on the railways, which will disrupt journeys.
And clocks go forward in the early hours of Sunday so please be sure to account for this time-change.
