Matt Lowton was the standout star when it came to statistics following the 2-1 loss to Arsenal.

Lowton came out on top in three categories and finished strongly in two others as the figures were analysed at The Emirates.

Joe Bennett and Nathan Baker also impressed in what was a sterling defensive and attacking display in the capital.

Lowton was No.1 - with Jack Wilshere - for take-ons with four successful out of five attempted. Gabby Agbonlahor was No.5 with two successful from three made.

Lowton was No.1 for tackles with three won from five attempted. Fabian Delph was No.5 with two won from three made.

Lowton was No.1 for blocks - alongside Baker - with three successful. Christian Benteke and Bennett were joint No.2 with one.

Lowton was No.2 - alongside Bennett - for interceptions with six. Mikel Arteta was No.1 with seven.

Baker was No.1 for clearances with nine successful out of seventeen made. Bennett was No.2 with seven successful out of nine made. Ciaran Clark was No.3 with four successful out seven made. Lowton was No.4 with three successful out of seven made.

Benteke was No.1 for aerial duels with five won from eleven attempted.

Agbonlahor was No.1 for fouls suffered with three.

Andreas Weimann was No.3 for shots - behind Santi Cazorla and Olivier Giroud - with one goal from one on target.

Delph was No.8 for passes with thirty-nine successful from forty-three made. Clark was No.10 with thirty-two successful from thirty-four made. Baker was No.11 with thirty-one successful from thirty-two made. Lowton was No.12 with twenty-nine successful from thirty-five made.

Weimann was No.10 for attacking third passes with ten successful out of eleven made. Agbonlahor was No.11 with seven successful out of eleven made. Lowton was No.12 with seven successful out of ten made.

Charles N'Zogbia was No.2 for chances created with one goal from two.
