Tony McAndrew's team followed up last weekend's win over Manchester City by defeating Rovers by the same scoreline.

Alfie Crooks continued his fine form in front of goal, scoring his fourth in three starts.

There were also strikes from Thomas Strain, Jordan Lyden, Jerell Sellars and Riccardo Calder.

The result takes Villa up to second in Group 3 of the Barclays U18 Premier League.

Villa are away to Arsenal at London Colney next Saturday.
