Paul Lambert put his players through their paces - and photographer Neville Williams was on hand to snap away at the action.

Williams was out on the training fields of Bodymoor Heath as the claret and blue troops geared up for the West Ham game on Sunday.

There were plenty of smiles as the lads showed their positive and confident attributes in the warm-up to the weekend Hammers clash.

Simon Dawkins and Yacouba Sylla were involved in the session as they continued getting up to speed with the pace needed in the Barclays Premier League after coming in from USA and France.

Lambert spoke in his press conference afterwards of the impact made by the pair, in particular Sylla, who has clearly been eager to impress the boss.

Lambert said: "They're both really fine.

"Sylla is definitely making his mark on one or two. They have been really fine, really, really fine.

"If you're playing against Sylla you'll know you are in for a game."
