Christian Benteke, Charles N'Zogbia and Gabby Agbonlahor excelled in the final third for Villa, while Ciaran Clark topped the defensive figures at the other end.

Villa may have fallen to a last-gasp goal which stopped them picking up three points but the statistics show that the claret and blue defenders were on song for most of the match.

Benteke was No.2 for shots with four in total, two on target and two goals. Marouane Fellaini was No.1 with six in total, four on target and two goals. Gabby Agbonlahor was No.4 with one in total, one on target and, of course, one goal.

N'Zogbia was highest ranked in passes - at No.6 - with twenty-three successful out of twenty-nine made. Benteke was No.8 with nineteen successful out of twenty-seven made.

N'Zogbia was highest ranked in final third passes - at No.9 - with nine successful out of eleven made. Agbonlahor was No.11 with seven successful out of eight made.
