N'Zogbia: The "strong atmosphere" in camp will help us climb table
Charles N'Zogbia is confident Villa can pull away from the drop zone because of the "strong atmosphere" in the claret and blue camp.
N'Zogbia believes it's only a matter of time before Villa start a run of good results to help them surge up the top-flight table.
The flying winger thinks the excellent team spirit can go a long way in the battle to build over the next few weeks and months.
He said: "We have a strong atmosphere in the club. Everybody is happy and everybody wants to play.
"We just haven't been getting the points. I'm confident that the way we play we're going to get wins soon enough. The good results will come soon.
"We all get on with each other, there are no arguments, we are all working as one together. We are going to start winning."
As someone who likes to show his attacking prowess, N'Zogbia admits he's uplifted by manager Paul Lambert's forward-thinking philosophies to football.
He continued: "When I first met the manager it made me happy that he wanted to go forward and play attacking football. He wants to let everybody play and show what they can do.
"The players now have a mentality - in the training as well as the matches - of going forward, not just waiting for the ball to be there. Everybody knows what to do.
"As long as we are going forward with the ball I think it is better for us and for the fans to watch. For me, the best form of defence is to attack."
Villa have adapted to different systems this season, with 4-4-2, 4-3-3 and 5-3-2 all used at various stages during the campaign.
N'Zogbia is happy to play in any of them as Villa look to start a march up the table.
He added: "We play different systems. We can do different things.
"When you are a professional you are used to fit in with different formations. You have to adapt to a different way of playing.
"If the manager tells you he wants you to play there, you play there - it's no problem. As players we are professionals and we work in training on how to fit in differently as required."
