Paul Lambert, Shay Given and Joe Bennett were on hand to speak to AVTV following Villa's 2-1 win over Ipswich in the FA Cup.

Goals from Darren Bent and Andreas Weimann were enough to secure a passage into the fourth round for the boys in claret and blue.

The manager, goalkeeper Given and full-back Bennett all faced the cameras to discuss the victory.

Lambert was pleased for Bent to score on his comeback from a hamstring injury.

The Villa boss hailed a really good start to a busy week which will see his team battling on three fronts.

He also hailed keeper Given for some terrific saves and hailed the competition between the Irishman and Brad Guzan.

Given talked us through his crucial saves and revealed he was pleased they had a bearing on the result.

The keeper applauded the finishes of strike duo Bent and Weimann.

He revealed his desire to go far in the FA Cup having been a losing finalist twice with Newcastle.

Bennett was voted man-of-the-match but insisted he was more concerned about the team progressing to round four.

The full-back also assessed his involvement for Weimann's winning goal.
