Lambert was left ruing the concession of the early goal from Ramis which rocked the boys in claret and blue.

The Villa boss was particularly disappointed with the way his team defended for the first two goals.

But he accepted full responsibility for the result.

Holman admitted the players were "devastated" after suffering a third-straight defeat.

The Australian midfielder discussed his opportunity towards the end of the first period which struck the cross bar.

He felt it could have offered Villa a route back into the game had it gone in.

You can also check out the thoughts of European Cup winner and AVTV pundit Andy Blair.

He gave his thoughts on what Villa can do to reverse their fortunes against Swansea on New Year's Day.
