Benteke joins likes of Pirlo in European team of the week
Benteke was selected in the Barclays Premier League team of the week for performances in matches this weekend.
The powerful forward scored two and set up Andreas Weimann for the other goal as Villa ran out convincing winners at Liverpool.
He gained a perfect mark of 10 - only the fifth by a player in the Barclays Premier League season thus far.
Brad Guzan  was also included after his stopping skills helped Villa to the Anfield victory.
