Villa will be up for the fight when they face Tottenham on Boxing Day.

There will be no festive cheer from Lambert's Lions as they look to roar against Andre Villas-Boas's men.

It will be a tough encounter, no question, but Lambert's side have shown in past weeks that they can really mix it.

They were both pugnacious and pretty in their approach against Stoke in the last home game.

All they needed was the finishing touch against the Potters.

But they put that issue to bed in fine style in the Capital One Cup clash at Norwich, running out 4-1 winners in an entralling game at Carrow Road.

Lambert now hopes good times are on the horizon as he sends the lads out against the men from White Hart Lane.

The match kicks-off at 5.30pm and tickets are £25 to £45 [adults], £22 to £45 [concessions], £15 to £40 [U16s], £10 to £40 [U8s] and £35 to £40 [adult/junior combo ticket].
