Holman: It was a positive point at "pumped up" QPR
Brett Holman spoke of the positive point gained at QPR.
Holman is a firm believer that draws on the road should be respected and cherished.
He felt this was even more applicable at Loftus Road due to the "pumped up" atmosphere generated by Harry Redknapp's arrival as boss.
He said: "I think every away game where you don't lose is a good effort.
"Considering all the things around this game with them having a new manager and being pumped up, it was a good point and a well-deserved one.
"The first half we did really well. And we put a lot of effort in after the break. The football wasn't great but to not concede and get a point was definitely positive.
"We have a bit of an unbeaten run now and we want to keep that going, definitely.
"Heading away to any team and not losing is a big thing in itself. To do it with everything that was circling this game, we were happy to take a point."
Holman was also thrilled to bag the goal that earned the draw in the capital.
He added: "It was great that I was able to pull the trigger and thankfully for me and the team it went in.
"The keeper didn't get enough on it to stop it going in. I thought he was going to save it, knowing my luck these past few weeks! It went in and it was good to get it.
"It was part of a great start. The first half was great. We played well and created some chances.
"It was just a shame we couldn't produce that sort of performance in the second half."
