Villa's young guns produced another sparkling display under the Villa Park floodlights in the NextGen Series.

The boys in claret and blue kept their hopes of qualification for the last 16 alive with an impressive 2-0 win over PSV Eindhoven.

Villa made a perfect start when Graham Burke fired them into the lead after 20 minutes.

The Irishman produced a clever finish after latching on to a through ball from strike partner Michael Drennan.

It was Drennan who doubled the advantage in the latter stages of the game with a superb solo effort.

There were also excellent displays from left-back Liam Bateman, central defender Daniel Devine and midfield duo Samir Carruthers and Jack Grealish.

Tony McAndrew's team now have a decent change of qualifying from Group 4, although there is lots at stake when the travel to Sporting Lisbon later this month for their final group fixture.
