Ace singer-songwriter Gary Nock is the star guest on the AVTV pre-match show ahead of Sunderland.

Villa fan Gary is well-known as the magic musician behind 'Make It Better' - the beautifully-catchy tune that featured extensively on television on a popular Mars advert.

Gary talks us through the success of the superb song, which appears on his debut album 'The Life We Learned To Live.'

The album is available now on iTunes and his acoustic-rooted songs, steeped in his love of everyone from James Taylor and Bob Dylan to Leonard Cohen and Tracy Chapman, are yours to discover.

He also chats to us about his claret and blue version of the track 'Oh to be a Villan' which has been played around the ground over the past few home games.

He even gives us an exclusive acoustic version, which will warm your Villa heart.

Gary also talks about his memories of following the club, his favourite players and his thoughts on the current team.

He also tells us why he thinks Ashley Westwood will one day wear the Villa captain's armband.

The pre-match show also features comment from Gabby Agbonlahor, who previews the match against his mates Carlos Cuellar and Gary Gardner and former boss Martin O'Neill.

He spells out why he thinks November could be a good month for Paul Lambert's men.

We also feature some tremendous goals against the Black Cats from the last few seasons.

Make sure you tune into our pre-match show.
