Villa's players went through their final preparations for this weekend's big home game against Norwich City during a training session at Bodymoor Heath today.

Club photographer Neville Williams was on hand to snap the squad in action on the training field.

Manager Paul Lambert was busy putting the players through their paces ahead of the encounter with his former club.

The claret and blues chief is determined to see his side bounce back from consecutive defeats to Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham.

He revealed in his pre-match press conference that he virtually has a fully fit squad to choose from, with the exception of Nathan Baker and Ciaran Clark, who are doubtful with ankle and knee injuries respectively, and long-term casualty Richard Dunne [groin].

But there is plenty of competition for places with Gabby Agbonlahor, Darren Bent, Christian Benteke and Andreas Weimann looking to get the nod up front.

Stephen Ireland is also looking to hold on to his spot in midfield after returning to action at Fulham last week.
