Villa v Norwich podcast: Albrighton and Holman on fans impact

A host of Villa stars are on hand to preview Saturday's important clash against Norwich City.

Marc Albrighton and Brett Holman both hail the impact of Villa's supporters following Monday's successful open training session at Villa Park.

The duo are on hand to discuss the brilliant support and how it will give them a boost ahead of the game against the Canaries.

Their sentiment is echoed by manager Paul Lambert, who says the players need the fans behind them.

He stresses that there is still a long way to go this season and that he is confident results will turn.

Villa legend Peter McParland gives his assessment of Villa's recent form.

McParland applauds the form of Fabian Delph in the central ground, as well as the work rate of Brett Holman and Karim El Ahmadi and the potential of Christian Benteke.

Matt Lowton says playing in the Premier League is a steep learning curve for him, especially after moving to centre-back to mark Dimitar Berbatov in last Saturday's clash against Fulham.

The full-back urges his team-mates to replicate their performance against Swansea when they face Norwich at the weekend.

Andreas Weimann tells junior Villans who his football idol is and why.

The Austrian forward gives advice to aspiring footballers, reflects on his first ever Villa goal and who he thinks Villa's best defender has been in the last few years.

You can also hear the best bits of Shay Given and Fabian Delph answering questions from junior fans.
