Paul Lambert, Matt Lowton and Peter McParland faced the AVTV cameras following Villa's 1-0 defeat to Fulham.

The boys in claret and blue left Craven Cottage empty-handed thanks to Chris Baird's late strike.

Lambert felt his team were good value for a share of the spoils against Martin Jol's side.

The Villa boss urged his players to keep their heads up after seeing them produce another encouraging display.

But he admitted they should have dealt with John Arne Riise's corner which led to the winning goal.

Lambert also delivered an injury update on Nathan Baker and Ciaran Clark.

Lowton admitted the defeat was tough to take but he is confident Villa's fortunes will turn.

He discussed his positional change after switching from full-back to centre-back following Baker's injury.

McParland singled out the performance of Fabian Delph as a positive.

The FA Cup legend also said he is excited by Christian Benteke's potential.
