It was all smiles in the claret and blue camp as Paul Lambert's squad lined up for the official photocall for 2012-13.

New signings Brett Holman, Karim El Ahmadi, Matt Lowton, Ron Vlaar, Ashley Westwood, Joe Bennett, Jordan Bowery and Christian Benteke were all present for the team photo at Bodymoor Heath.

Lambert took his seat at the front of the group along with first team coach Ian Culverhouse and head of football operations Gary Karsa.

The buoyancy in the camp was tangible following Saturday's 2-0 win over Swansea.

The photocall also provided a money-can't-buy opportunity for a group of lucky Villa supporters, who won competitions to pose alongside their heroes.

Luke Jackson won the opportunity to appear in the team photo through the Villa Moments competition run by Genting Casinos.

Jack Hodson's place in the squad photo came after he was selected as a lucky winner by official ticket exchange partner viagogo.

Jamie and Nathan Hurren won a season ticket holder competition to join the Villa squad for the photoshoot.
