Man Utd U18 0-2 Villa U18: Double for Robinson in classy win

Villa's U18s registered their first win of the new league season with a classy 2-0 success at Manchester United.

Callum Robinson score twice in the second half as the boys in claret and blue saw off the Red Devils in style.

The England U17 striker was well placed to score from inside the six-yard box to put the visitors ahead on 53 minutes.

Then, on 76 minutes, Robinson cut in from the left and curled a majestic shot into the corner after great work from Jack Grealish.

The boys in claret and blue had opportunities to add to the scoring.

Jordan Graham and Daniel Williams both had efforts cleared off the line, while Courtney Wildin headed off target.

Goalkeeper Craig Hill also made some important saves to deny Andreas Pereira and James Wilson.

VILLA: Hill, Bateman, Wildin (Lewis, 80), Melvin, Dempsey, Watkins-Clark, Graham, Crowley (Williams, 85), Robinson (Nelson, 75), Ward, Grealish. Unused subs: Stevenson, Watkins.
