Here's your first chance to see pictures of Christian Benteke in training ahead of the Swansea game.

Benteke signed on deadline day evening with about an hour remaining and then immediately flew out for international duties with Belgium.

He didn't appear against Wales but then turned out for the full match against Croatia, impressing many with his powerful display up top.

Benteke was back at Bodymoor Heath on Thursday and impressed Paul Lambert with his determination and desire - and well as his obvious skill alongside his new team-mates.

Neville Williams was at the training ground on Friday to snap away as Benteke trained with the likes of fellow newboys Ashley Westwood, Jordan Bowery and Joe Bennett.

Paul Lambert told the press conference: "I think Christian will be a handful.

"I watched him the other night against Croatia and he was excellent, in the way he played.

"He is only a young lad, he is only 21, but he will be a handful for us."

As well as the sight of Benteke bruising his way through the session, there were smiles all-round, with Gabby Agbonlahor, Darren Bent, Fabian Delph and Charles N'Zogbia especially in good spirits.
