Villa v Swansea team news: Lambert says no decision on Guzan or Given
Paul Lambert insists "nothing in set in stone" as he gets ready to pick his No.1 for the game against Swansea.
Lambert elected to select Brad Guzan ahead of Shay Given for the match at Newcastle.
Given had played against West Ham and Everton but Lambert chose to switch to Guzan for the Tranmere and Newcastle clashes.
Lambert wouldn't be drawn on who would play against the Swans on Saturday, keeping his thinking close to his chest.
He said: "Nothing is set in stone. You can't have anything set in stone in football.
"I just try and pick a team I think can win a game. It's nothing personal against anyone.
"It's just a team I think can win us a game.
"Brad came in and did exceptionally well. Shay has been a world-class keeper all his days and nothing is ever set in stone.
"Brad is in there at the minute. I'm pretty sure Shay will push him every step of the way.
"It is a decision I thought was right for the football club at that time and Brad was exceptional at Newcastle."
Lambert also revealed there were no fresh injury worries heading into the Swansea game, with Joe Bennett [ankle], Chris Herd [thigh] and Fabian Delph [knee] all recovered.
