Villa will be looking for home comforts tonight as they aim to kickstart their NextGen campaign against Celtic.

Tony McAndrew's youthful charges lost 3-1 to Sporting Lisbon and 1-0 at PSV Eindhoven in the first two games of the prestigious Champions League-style tournament.

Now they need to emerge victorious against the Scottish giants - and former club of Stiliyan Petrov and Paul Lambert.

Lambert is bound to be present in B6 for the 7pm kick-off to see the young lions in action.

He's likely to see Mike Drennan and Graham Burke sniffing chances up front, Samir Carruthers and Jack Grealish scampering down the wing and first team squad member Derrick Williams battling at the back.

McAndrew will be hoping to see his young lions produce the kind of form that lit up the event in B6 last term.

They saw off Fenerbahce 4-0, Rosenborg 4-1 and Ajax 3-0 but eventually fell at the quarter-final in a rip-roaring game against Marseille.

Celtic also did well and just missed out on a place in the knockout stages after finishing third in a group containing Barcelona, Marseille and Manchester City.

The latest encounter takes place this evening, kick-off 7pm.
