On transfers: We will have to wait and see. There are things going on at the minute. It's a waiting game. We will try and do stuff. We will wait and see.
On Christian Benteke: It's just what you guys have reported. That's all I know. The situation hasn't changed over the last few days. It's where it is at the minute.
On positional priorities: There are a few areas we are looking at to see if we can strengthen.
On Jordan Bowery: He's very good. I have no worries about throwing him in. None whatsoever. The hunger will be there from him. It's surprised a few people but we think he can offer something. It's a great opportunity for him to do well.
On Dale Stephens: I haven't heard anything back from that so I am unclear on that. That's in Charlton's court at the moment.
On possibility of three signings: You'll have to wait and see. I am never quite sure until someone walks in the door. Until they do that, everything is up in the air. I think every manager will tell you, it's never easy.
On transfer deadline day: I've never liked these days. Every manager says it. They are not great and what you don't want to do is panic on anything.

Jordan Bowery: "This is a Premier League club with so much history, a massive club, and I'm really excited. "I'm quick, I'm fit and I work hard, those are all advantages to my game. Now I have to work harder than ever before to make an impression here and to repay the manager."
