Villa return to top-flight action on Saturday at West Ham, with Paul Lambert overseeing his first competitive game in charge.

It should be quite some occasion as the lime greens look to sparkle at Upton Park.

Once again, AVTV is your main resource before the game as they preview the match with a host of star names.

Matthew Lowton and Ciaran Clark are the main men this week, with Shay Given also popping in to give his verdict on the size of the challenge facing Villa on Saturday.

Lowton discusses how he's settled into camp and what a great group of guys he's privileged to train with.

He talks up the qualities of Clark, who's been excelling in central defence.

He discusses his versatile tag and gives us his personal opinion on his best position.

Lowton also chats about the excitement ahead of the Upton Park encounter and what he's feeling ahead of his top-flight debut.

Clark discusses his partnership with 'Concrete' Ron Vlaar and his desire to see it flourish.

Clark also gives his opinion on Lowton and talks about how well the former Sheffield United defender has settled in.

Given is the perfect man to preview the West Ham clash, having played under Sam Allardyce at Newcastle.

Villa's No.1 insists it will be a "baptism of fire" for a few of the lads at Upton Park but insists they'll be ready for the game.

Villa reporter Mat Kendrick from the Birmingham Mail is a surprise guest on the show and chats about Vlaar and the positive feeling among the claret and blue fanbase.

We also relive some goals scored at Upton Park, including strikes from Ian Taylor, Dwight Yorke and Darren Bent.
