The boss will be looking to use the Bremen match to sharpen up his troops as they eye the challenge of West Ham on August 18.

Vlaar will be looking to further settle into the back four before the big kick-off and El Ahmadi will hope to continue his impressive start in claret and blue.

Holman has been a revelation with trickery and deftness of touch on the ball - and an eye for goal while Lowton can clearly defend and isn't scared of bombing forward when appropriate.
