Villa's young guns continue their preparations for the new campaign tonight with a friendly clash at Worcester City.

Gordon Cowans will take charge of the second string for this evening's match at St George's Lane [kick-off 7.45pm].

The club's development squad made an impressive start to pre-season with a 6-2 victory over Boldmere St Michaels last week.

Michael Drennan helped himself to a hat-trick, while there was a brace for Graham Burke and a strike for Jack Grealish.

Tonight they will set up their preparations with a fixture against Blue Squad North opposition.

Worcester have also made an strong start to pre-season with wins over Stratford Town and a West Bromwich Albion XI as well as a goalless draw against Hereford United.

Supporters can pay on the gate for tonight's game with admission prices £7 for adults, £5 for concessions, £3 for young adults and £2 for under-16s.
