USA Tour pictures: Villa supporters "fire up" in Chicago

Paul Lambert's men saw off the MLS aces at Toyota Park with a fine victory courtesy of Gabby Agbonlahor's thumping header. But business had been taken care of earlier in the day for the Villa faithful as they got the chance to don the shirt and play for their glorious club. Villa's USA fans defeated Fire's USA supporters 4-2. It really was stuff that dreams are made of because not only did they have the chance to impress for their beloved team but legend Ian Taylor was alongside them on the pitch. Club ambassador Taylor played the full ninety minutes and still looked the real deal with an ace array of passes. And he left participants from both sides feeling special with his encouragement during the match for his own side and his commiserations for Fire fans on the final whistle. One Fire player even tweeted: "Ian Taylor is one of the nicest, kindest chaps on earth. "Great time had, even in defeat." Click here for images of the game. |
