Lambert will take his place in the dugout closest to the Holte End on Saturday August 25 - kick-off 3pm - as he calls on the vociferous fans to belt their hearts out for the lads.

And it looks set to be an extra special afternoon as there will be another free family fun day taking place in the Indoor Academy before kick-off.

What's more, a special 4-for-£44 ticket deal is available in the North Stand lower for the encounter against the Toffees.

It's the most played fixture in domestic football but there's a new feel to the claret and blue cosmos this season with Lambert's Lions ready to roar.

This game will give you an opportunity to see the gaffer's new signings, with Brett Holman, Matthew Lowton and Karim El Ahmadi all desperate for a place out on the glorious green turf of Villa Park.

Villa's power brokers will be looking for further new recruits too, so this really is one not to miss.

Current season ticket holders can buy six extra tickets each from Monday with prices set at £23 to £42 [adults], £22 to £40 [concessions*], £15 to £40 [U16s], £10 to £40 [U8s] and £33 to £38 [adult/junior combo ticket].

However, if you want your tickets in the Holte End Lower Wings, there's an earlybird offer available.

This comes to a cracking £25 [adults] and £19 [concessions].

The offer is available for a limited period only, with normal rates returning from Saturday August 11.

From Thursday July 19 tickets are on sale to supporters who attended at least three Villa home fixtures in the 2011-12 season.

From Tuesday July 24 they are available to supporters who attended at least one Villa home fixture in the 2011-12 season.

From Tuesday July 31 they are on sale to supporters who have a Villa booking history while Monday August 6 sees general sale beginning.
