Paul Lambert leads his squad on a pre-season tour of the USA - and fans can follow the adventure stateside every step of the way on the official website.

Villa's communications team are travelling with the new boss and his lions as they head to Philadelphia, Chicago and Portland.

You'll be able to enjoy extensive coverage of all three matches - against Union, Fire and Timbers - during the tour via AVTV, with the full 90 minutes appearing on the official television channel the morning after the game.

Then there's obviously live match commentary and post-match interviews.

There'll also be a live text service running on the official website throughout all three games so fans can get involved and give their opinion on the action.

And then there'll be match reports and manager verdicts.

But that's certainly not where the match coverage ends.

AVTV will also bring you fan views from a variety of meet-ups, pre-match interviews, press conferences and training footage as Lambert looks to get his players up to speed for the start of the Barclays Premier League season.

AVTV will also be bringing you an exclusive behind-the-scenes end-of-day news bulletin, featuring highlights from a variety of events over in the USA, including visits to the famous 'Rocky' steps in Philadelphia, the Willis Tower in Chicago and the spooky Voodoo Doughnut store in Portland.

Ian Taylor will also be taking on 'Tayls versus Food' challenges, mirroring the hit TV show, from all three locations on the trip.

The end of each day will also see a text diary blog, with events covered via comment, quotes, anecdotes and pictures.
