Villa's reserves will gear up for the 2012-13 campaign with three pre-season games against non-league opposition.

The second string's first warm-up fixture is against Boldmere St Michaels next Wednesday [July 18].

The clash takes place at The Trevor Brown Memorial Ground in Church Road, Boldmere, and will kick off at 7.30pm.

On Tuesday July 24, Worcester City will be Villa's opponents at St George's Lane.

The game against the Blue Square Bet North side kicks off at 7.45pm.

A young Villa team will then face Chester FC in a friendly on Saturday July 28 at the Exacta Stadium [ko 3pm].

Villa's U19 squad will also be competing in the Fitland Talent Cup in Holland next month.

The tournament is taking place between August 3 and August 6 at Fortuna Sittard FC.

The claret and blues have been drawn in Group A of the eight-team competition against German second division side Alemannia Aachen, KRC Gent of Belgium and Japanese outfit YASU Football Academy.

Host club Fortuna Sittard are in Group B along with American team Defiance College Ohio, IFK Goteborg from Sweden and Willem II/RKC of Holland.
