Villa fans are being invited to take part in a sponsored cycle ride to raise funds for Acorns Children's Hospice.

Villa's official charity partner are recruiting cyclists to take part in a challenging 10 or 20 mile cycle through the beautiful Severn Valley on Sunday August 19.

Departing from Bridgnorth (20 mile route) and the Severn Valley Country Park (10 mile route), cyclists will pass Arley Arboretum, cycle through the Wyre Forest and follow the river to reach the finish line at Bewdley.

After celebrating the completion of the cycle, cyclists will be treated to an exciting return by steam train along the Severn Valley Railway.

What makes this event even better is the 2011 entry fees have been frozen for 2012.

All sponsorship raised will go to help Acorns care for and support local life-limited children and their families.
