But there is plenty of fun still come on Sunday with more terrific live bands and another opportunity to pick up the brand new home shirt. Click here to check out the picture gallery of day one. The main attraction on Saturday was the brand new home kit which went down a storm with the claret and blue army as they snapped up strip after strip after strip. Sales went fantastically well on the opening day and there was much interest registered in our vibrant away kit too. New boss Lambert delighted the crowd by making a guest appearance and his Q&A on stage with AVTV host Jack Woodward produced a host of cheers from the thousands who came down to B6. Bannan was also on hand to chat to Woodward and he also signed merchandise in the Villa Store as fans flocked in their numbers to be a part of the great event. Up-and-coming bands like The Culture, The Bluebeat Arkestra, Dakota Beats, Swim Deep and The Lines also took to the stage to belt out their anthems, which went down a storm with the watching masses. But don't for one minute think that this is the end of the entertainment. There are still chances to get hold of the kit this weekend with the second day of the exciting carnival. And groups like Stubblemelt, Deception's Pocket, Joyous, Vows, Paradise Forum, Soldier and Taking Hayley will be singing their hearts out. Once again, the day goes from 10am to 4pm, with the Villa Store open from 9am to 4pm. Click here to check out the picture gallery of day one. Click here to buy the new home kit online. |
