Manager Paul Lambert will make a special guest appearance at the Villa kit launch festival on Saturday.

Villa's new boss will be on hand at 2pm for the exciting event, which will see the home and away strips on show for the claret and blue army to view.

Lambert said: "I'm looking forward to seeing the fans at Villa Park this weekend.

"The club have put a lot of effort into staging this weekend's events and I know that fans are excited about the new home and away kits.

"With the Premier League fixtures for next season coming out on Monday, too, it all kind of starts to whet everybody's appetite for the season ahead."

Midfield star Barry Bannan will also be appearing on Saturday from 12.15pm.

The home and away kit will be launched in a stunning outdoor carnival on both Saturday and Sunday at Villa Park.

And the home kit will be available to purchase immediately from the Villa Village Store on site.

The goalkeeping kit will be available on Monday June 25 while the away kit, meanwhile, will be on sale on Saturday July 14.

There will also be a large selection of official training wear available to purchase on both days too.
