The boys in claret and blue face a difficult festive assignment when they head to the Britannia Stadium on Monday evening.

AVTV has the best build-up with winger Albrighton, utility man Chris Herd and manager Alex McLeish offering their thoughts on the game.

You can also get in the mood for the trip to the Potteries by reliving some past Villa goals against Tony Pulis' team.

Albrighton's confidence is sky high after sealing a place in the record books by scoring the Premier League's 20,000th goal in Wednesday's defeat against Arsenal.

Villa were unlucky to lose to the Gunners after a superb display and Albrighton has called for a repeat performance against Stoke.

Herd is set to miss the festive period through injury. Despite his frustration at missing the Stoke game, the Aussie ace tells us he is looking forward to cheering on his team-mates from the stands.

Manager McLeish talks about Villa's preparations over the Christmas period and assesses the challenge posed by the Potters.

The show ends with a glorious goal montage, including John Carew's Goal of the Season from the 2008-09 campaign.
